The YPG Local Government Fair will be held on August 2, 2010 at 6:00pm at Daytona State College. The Local Government Fair will provide a unique opportunity to interact with local government officials and learn about opportunities for involvement. The Local Government Fair is free and open to the public. The panel of speakers will include: Chairman Frank Bruno - Volusia County; Mayor Fred Costello - Ormond Beach; Mayor Allen Green - Port Orange; Mayor Glenn Ritchey - Daytona Beach. Join the YPG as we conduct monthly mock interviews of the Daytona Downtown Streets Team members, held on the second Thursday of every month. The DDST is a transitional program through the Salvation Army that teaches homeless participants successful work habits they need to earn their way back into society. This is a great opportunity for you to practice your own interviewing skills, while giving some much appreciated interview tips.
